The course covers basic awareness training, explains best practice, and what to do if you have a concern regarding child protection. Coaching Management and Governance Review

From the BCU Board

At the recent BCU board meeting, the board reviewed the terms of reference for the recently announced Coaching Review which had been prepared by the Review Group at their first meeting and formally approved them. These terms of reference will now be used by the Group as they develop their report which is due to be produced by the end of December 2009 and will be considered by the BCU board at their meeting in January 2010. Once the board has reviewed the report, an update will be provided to our members.

FULL DOCUMENT AND TERMS OF REFERENCE>

The review group welcomes input from members who wish to contribute to the review process and for efficiency these should be sent in the first instance to the member’s home association office (ECA, CANI, SCA or Canoe Wales). All inputs received will be considered by the group and acknowledged in the report to the board, although it is unlikely that each will receive a direct response.
