The role of these centres is to provide a resource for Canoe Wales members in their specialism ie. to run courses and to hold Canoe Wales demo boats on behalf of Canoe Wales members.

Canoe Wales Approved Centres

Canoe Wales operates an approval scheme for centres based in Wales on behalf of, and to the standards laid down by, the British Canoe Union. All centres applying for approval are inspected to ensure that their instructors have the required qualifications and their equipment is of a suitable standard.

There are many centres in Wales offering canoeing instruction and this website gives details only of those centres which have applied for and received approval under the scheme this year.
